I to am a Buyer on the internet and am always looking for a "Good Deal" just like  
 everyone else. But a good deal on an item is only true if you get the "real item" at a
 savings. You have to take the Sellers word and that does not always happen when
 buying items over the internet. Unfortunately that is also true with automotive parts that 
 are showing up for sale. It is amazing that someone will spend Thousands of dollars
 Restoring or Updating a vehicle and then take a gamble on using NOS, NORS or
 Low Cost Imported brake hoses to stop over two tons of moving steel with you and 
 possibly your family in it.

 I have purchased several NOS and NORS hoses from the internet for patterns and
 comparison, and here is what I found.....

NOS and NORS hoses are a good buy if the ones you receive are not Hard or have    Hairline Cracks in the aged rubber.    Close to 50% of the hoses I have purchased as patterns ended up being no good.    Just think if some one else bought them to use on a vehicle. Several Sellers claim that they are building new hoses to "certain standards".    Any one can build hoses to meet certain standards but if the equipment and    materials used have not been D.O.T approved what good is the standard?     You take the risk, not them.    Our equipment has been D.O.T approved and registered. Every hose we build    has our registration number on each and every one.   New hoses that were purchased both from US Sellers and International Sellers did     not have the Date Code and/or D.O.T labeling on them.     Without the Date Code you have no idea how old the hose is that you purchased?     Without the D.O.T labeling on the hose who knows if the hose is made for brake     hose and the different kinds of brake fluids?     Again you take the risk not them.   Make sure to read the Sellers complete listing. There are Sellers out there with      excellent quality products for sale and Sellers who should not be trusted.      It is up to you to ask questions if you are not sure. Drive Safe and Stop Safely
